Our Mission

Did you know……..

Every camp provides a helping hand!

YOUR CAUSE: to teach, extend and challenge your students.
OUR CAUSE: to provide education and adventure experiences for young people and to be an encouragement to the Membantu Development Charitable Fund. The Membantu (Indonesian word for ‘helping’) Development Fund assists in a range of projects to improve the welfare of children in Bali, including the provision of education, food security, water supply, clothing and building projects. The Fund assists partner organisations including the Widhya Asih Foundation. A significant number of our staff sponsor children through the Widhya Asih Foundation.
Local school students hold an annual fun run to raise funds. The run, called the Run 4 Membantu, usually raises around $30,000.

If you have an interest in helping (Membantu) us make a difference, you may wish to personally contribute by either:
• A donation in the donation box on the dining room wall.
• Asking about being a child sponsor.

Our Centre creates fun, adventure and camaraderie. Enjoy your stay.

More about the Widhya Asih Foundation

The Widhya Asih Foundation operates children’s homes and family support programs throughout Bali in accordance with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. The Widhya Asih Foundation also meets the Indonesian national standards for children’s homes. Unlike orphanages which default to taking children from their families, the Widhya Asih Foundation focuses on working with underprivileged families to provide the best possible outcomes for the children whilst maintaining strong family connections where possible.
